We offer a limited range of services beyond the above catchment area, consisting of Leak Testing (thermal and electronic) in bulk bookings, Site Mapping for intervals of 3 visits per year minimum & Commercial property acquisition roof surveys.

The first question is, can the roof be accessed by foot. If yes, the electronic test, paired with 1 core test per 100m2 will provide you with a comprehensive report, enabling you to save money on full replacement. The average cost for our 200m2 flat roof Electronic Survey is 1500 plus 600 for a core test. For 2100+VAT, you will be armed with a professional report & roof map, drawn to reletive acuracy, giving you the potential to save tens of thousands on replacing flat roofs that could've been repaired

n average, our clients would save in excess of 70,000+VAT by repairing known areas of moisture ingress, rather than replacing the whole flat roof. Take off our survey fee, and thats still an average saving of just under 68,000+VAT on a typical 200m2 flat roof.

Electronic surveys take up to 6 hours per 200m2 for data collection. The photogrammetry map is usually ready the next day. the issue report/ingress maps can take a little longer. We aim for a 7 day turnaround, from data collection to issue report in PDF format. Thermal surveys take up to 3 hours for data collection, but must be conducted at, or after sunset. We aim for the same 7 day turnaround on thermal surveys. Core tests take 1 hour to acquire the data. Site Mapping is an all day exercise, and can sometimes require up to 3 days depending on the size. Insurance reports take up to 30 mins to acquire the data. Homebuyer surveys can take up to 1 hour for a 100m2 roof.

We use a 2" (50mm) diameter core bit to drill down from the flat roof surface, up to 7" in depth. The 'core cookies' that are pulled from the core drill bit indicate the different layers of roofing membrane, insulation and decking on the roof. Commonly, concrete or stammit board structures pull up drastic spec changes 'after' the project has commenced. This can result in rushed contractors, and large additional bills for you, the client. Core tests give everyone a clear view on the spec, prior to awarding the works to your chosen contractor

All of our roof related services include a 200+VAT voucher for use with our parent company, Barris Roofing Ltd. The voucher can be redeemed if you choose Barris to carry out the remedial works. The voucher can only be used with Barris Roofing Ltd, and can only be applied to works on the property surveyed.

It is common for homebuyers to need the reports 'yesterday'. We can typically turn around a hugely detailed report in 7 days, including site visit, data collection, photogrammetry & issue report. As always, it is subject to weather.

The more properties you book in, the better rate we can offer. Perfect for landlords, multiple site managers & building maintenance/management companies. 50% deposit is required on all multiple bookings.

50% deposit to confirmt he booking, and then the remaining 50% when the report is ready, prior to sending. All reports are invoiced through our parent company, Barris Roofing Ltd.

No. Clients are encouraged to obtain quotes remotely using our detailed reports. Our reports are data based, and clearly evidence issues. We can provide cost estimates, and quotes if required, but that is not our primary objective.

In short, No. Unless you're a qualified drone pilot with CAA permissions to fly closer than 50m, or 150m from people and buildings respectively. On top of that, you'll need to spend 23k on a fleet of drones, 3000 on Flir cameras, 6000 on Tramex electronic equipment & 13000 per year on top of class photogrammetry and reporting software. Lastly, you'll need 36 years of experience in domestic and commercial roofing.. which is priceless.

We keep and maintain an Autel Evo 2 Dual 640T V3 for thermal drone missions, a DJI Mavic3E RTK drone for high accuracy to sub cm levels, a DJI Mavic 2 Pro for small photogrammetry missions, a DJI Phantom 4 RTK for site mapping & agricultural missions & a DJI Mavic Mini, which is under 250g for flying closer to buildings. Our Autel thermal drone has a 4x lossless zoom in RGB, perfect for close inspection of bridges and powerlines, whilst keeping to the law of required distance.
